Water-Saving Garden Preparations for Spring Gardens

El Paso Water and El Paso Master Gardeners have created a series of Water Conservation workshops we’ve nicknamed our GROWS talks. GROWS is an acronym for Gardening Resources Outreach Workshops and Seminars.  We’re providing a variety of research-based resources for creating healthy, water-conserving gardens. 

Come meet our El Paso County Extension Agent, Eduardo Rascon. Learn how to prepare a garden for spring – keeping in mind the latest water conservation techniques. Let’s review what varieties of fruits and vegetables grow well in El Paso and discuss the planting calendar for El Paso County.

Eduardo Rascon is currently serving as the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Agent-Horticulture and is in charge of Urban Programs. He also acts as an adviser to the Executive Committee for the El Paso County Master Gardeners Association.
