Plant Problem?
Ask an Expert – Master Gardener Chat Desk
El Paso County Master Gardeners now have a live Chat feature on our website to help you reach us more easily to ask your home gardening or landscape questions. Master Gardener volunteers will be available live online to provide you research-based horticultural information when you visit our website and click the Chat buttons during our Chat Desk operating hours.
On desktop and laptop screens, you’ll see a clickable blue sidebar on the right side of the screen. On a mobile device, the clickable blue circular chat icon will be in the lower right screen corner of the screen.
We’re looking forward to assisting you during our live Chat Desk hours:
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday – 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. MDT
Tuesday and Friday* – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. MDT
*We may also be available on some Saturdays.
To use the Chat feature you type in your question in the message box, and you can send photographs of your problem, too. Please convey in your question or message some background information about the plant or problem as well as what plant care practices you have been following. If you’d like help with identifying a plant, please send photos of it in flower, if possible, as that aids in identification. During our live chat hours, you’ll interact with a Master Gardener volunteer.
When Chat Desk Master Gardener volunteers are offline, the Chat buttons can still be used to leave questions and photographs. You’ll be asked for your email address, and we’ll reply by email as soon as possible.
