Plant questions? El Paso Master Gardeners have the answers! Join us on September 24th at our Information Table at the 18th Annual Chihuahuan Desert Fiesta at the El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens to help celebrate their Chihuahuan Desert exhibit. Our Information Tables are part of the Zoo’s educational activities which include animal encounters, entertainment, and discovery tables with local organizations and conservation programs.
At our Information Tables you can ask gardening and landscape questions and pick up free gardening brochures. Our focus this day will be on Chihuahuan Desert native plants, regional trees, and wildflowers. At the table for children, there’ll be a trivia game and activities on worms and plants.
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service training provides El Paso County Master Gardeners with research-based horticulture information and resources as a foundation for their wide range of experiences in gardening in the El Paso. Certified Master Gardeners and Master Gardener Interns share that knowledge with members of the community who visit our Information Tables at many public events throughout the year. The Information Tables are stocked with a wealth of free publications on growing vegetables, gardening, and landscaping.
We look forward to seeing you at our Information Tables!
