El Paso County Master Gardener Presenter
El Paso Master Gardeners and El Paso Water have teamed up to present a FREE series of Water Conservation workshops. Your presenter, Bev Clark, is a Master Gardener with Advance Training in Composting and Vegetable Gardening.
Bev Clark has enjoyed a life-long passion for gardening. Raised in Kansas, she acquired her gardening basics working side-by-side with her parents in their home gardens. Moving to El Paso in 1992 was an “over the rainbow” experience where even gardening became a new learning experience. Since becoming a Certified Master Gardener in 2013, Bev has continued her passion by researching techniques with hands-on application and learning everything she can about gardening.
She is certified by Texas Master Gardeners as an Advanced Trainer in both Vegetable Gardening and Composting. Bev was the first co-chair of the Ascarate Teaching and Demonstration Garden. She also served three years as the co-chair of Ascarate Garden greenhouse and ran the Texas A&M AgriLife Vegetable Demonstration Gardens part of the 2018 Tomato Field Trials. Currently, she devotes the majority of her volunteer efforts at the AgriLife Vegetable Demonstration Gardens where she implements her research and experience to improve the garden and share her knowledge with other Master Gardeners and Master Gardener interns. Bev has proven herself to be a true asset to our local Association garnering awards locally and from the state, including Texas State Master Gardener of the Year in medium and large associations in 2020.
