Could the Chihuahuan Desert be the “Amazon of the Bees”? Learn from our speaker, Bob Reneau, how you can help your garden benefit from these important pollinators when you come to our June Garden Talk at the Farmers’ Market at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing.

Our horticultural speakers will give Garden Talks on the last Saturday of each month through September. The 2017 Gardening Series schedule below shows the monthly gardening theme and the name of the end-of-month talk.

Everyone will be eligible to win a Door Prize if they’re present after the end-of-month 45 minute Garden Talk that starts at 9:00 a.m. You may collect an entry ticket when you visit any of our Saturday Information Booths throughout the month. Bring your ticket on the last Saturday of the month as you must be there to win.

Click here for a printable PDF flyer of the Gardening Series schedule.

While you are at the Farmers’ Market, be sure to stop by our El Paso Master Gardener Information Booth. You’ll find a wealth of free publications on topics ranging from composting to growing roses and tomatoes. We look forward to talking with you about your gardening concerns and answering your gardening questions. In addition, as produce becomes available in our demonstration garden, we will sell tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, and other vegetables.
