Vegetable Garden Series: Chili Peppers From A to Z
Galveston County Master Gardener Gene Speller will discuss best practices for cultivating chili peppers from seed to harvest. He will also include specific descriptions and recommendations for over 40 different varieties of sweet and hot peppers along with a few culinary suggestions. Additionally, a discussion of insect and disease control recommendations for peppers will be included.

Herb Garden Series: Herb Propagation

He will also include a brief discussion of “Fun Facts and Tips” for growing 10 popular Spring Vegetables in Galveston County (Tomatoes, Chili Peppers, Green Beans, Sweet Corn, Cucumbers, Squash, Okra, Eggplant, Irish Potatoes, and Carrots). Additionally, this program includes a discussion of applicable Integrated Pest Management (IPM) methods.
