Veggie Garden Series: Spring Vegetables
Galveston County Master Gardener Kevin Lancon will share his wealth of knowledge of hands-on experience growing vegetables. Topics will include how to plan and plant a spring vegetable garden that works best for you, and selecting the best varieties for Galveston County. We will also discuss pollination, mulching, the effects of full sun and shade on leafy and fruiting vegetables, and we will share more detailed information on some of the more popular spring vegetables for our area.

Onions and Garlic – Gulf Coast Gardening Series
Galveston County Master Gardener Kevin Lancon will highlight best practices successfully growing bulb onions, garlic, leek, and multiplier shallots. Kevin will share his experience perfecting the art of growing onions and garlic. Registration is required.
