Urban Orchard Series: Patio Citrus

Join Horticulture Agent Stephen Brueggerhoff and Texas Department of Agriculture Citrus Health Response Inspector Janis Teas and learn about growing citrus on the patio. Stephen will discuss container cultivation, maintenance and varieties like mandarin, satsuma, lemons and limes, and Janis will present citrus disease management, including TDA monitoring programs for citrus canker and citrus greening.

Bakcyard Citrus – Gulf Coast Gardening Series Seminar

Galveston County Master Gardener and citrus expert Robert Marshall’s presentation will feature citrus tree varieties for our area, rootstocks, nutrients, disease (citrus canker and citrus greening), insect problems, control of birds and critters, and freeze protection. Registration is required.
