El Paso County Master Gardeners and El Paso Water have teamed up to present a FREE series of Water Conservation workshops. Join us at the TecH₂O Water Learning Center for May’s presentation by El Paso County Master Gardener Robin Scofield.

Get great tips on saving water by using raised beds and containers! Do you have sandy or caliche soil? Raised beds and containers are your solutions.

After the presentation, stay for a special facilities tour and learn about TecH20 Center’s keyhole gardens.

El Paso County Master Gardener Presenter – Robin Scofield

Robin Scofield was knee-high to a grasshopper when she began helping her granddad tend his prized roses, blackberries, strawberries, and peach trees that grew on his farm. Also a prize-winning poet, Robin became a Master Gardener six years ago. She is currently co-chair of the Ascarate Teaching and Demonstration Garden.

Class Schedule Recap: The presentation is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A special tour of landscaping at TecH₂O is from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
