El Paso Water and El Paso Master Gardeners have created a series of Water Conservation workshops we’ve nicknamed our GROWS talks. GROWS is an acronym for Gardening Resources Outreach Workshops and Seminars.  We provide a variety of research-based resources for creating healthy, water-conserving gardens.

Flyer to promote talk on composting.El Paso soils vary depending on where you live. Your garden soil might be sandy loam, clay, rocky, or stubborn caliche. This course will help you understand how composting helps you improve your garden soil and conserve water and energy. Find out how composting helps the environment, saves you money, and conserves water. Eduardo Rascon, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Agent-Horticulture,  will show you the basics of composting and troubleshoot common issues so you can see how to make composting work for you!

Please register for this workshop at Eventbrite so we’ll know how many to expect: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/857245914607?aff=oddtdtcreator
