We invite you to join us for our Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Ascarate Teaching and Demonstration Garden at 301 Manny Martinez Sr. Drive.

Different sizes and varieties of succulents, an array of colorful geraniums, herb favorites, and ornamentals along with Mother’s Day succulent arrangements for your last-minute shopping honoring Mom will be available.

What herbs will be on sale? While this list isn’t complete, our greenhouse team has been propagating basil, sage, rosemary, thyme, and chamomile.  The available quantities will be limited, so please come early for the best selection!

Propagated from seeds or cuttings, some of the ornamentals you’ll find are: geraniums, succulents, jade plants, cosmos, ice plants, bougainvillea, hearts and flowers, kalanchoe, and ornamental peppers, to mention a few. Come early for the best selection!

We will also feature container gardening and succulent demonstrations along with tours of the Ascarate Teaching and Demonstration Garden. Look for our Information Table where you’ll find Master Gardeners to answer all your gardening questions.
