Join Master Gardeners at the Amigos Garden Spring Open House

Come join the El Paso County Master Gardeners as they help The Mustard Seed Café and Amigos Garden celebrate their Spring Open House on April 29th. We’ll have two booths where we will entertain and educate children and adults alike!

Our spring topic will be bugs and their interaction with plants and people. At our Youth Outreach booth, you can create ladybugs with paper plates and construction paper. Also, children and adults can play a bingo-type game with bugs and learn about various types of insects.

Look for our Information Table, too, where you’ll find Certified Master Gardeners and Interns ready to share their knowledge with you. The Information Tables are also stocked with a wealth of free publications on growing vegetables, gardening, and landscaping.

In addition, there will be young local entrepreneurs, local farmers and vendors, the Paso del Norte Beekeepers Association, the Humane Society for pet adoptions, and live music, food, and games for everyone to enjoy!
