Pre-recorded on Zoom to observe Covid safety protocols, this casual conversation between Mature Living’s producer and host, Mary Yañez, and Doc Stalker explores a variety of ways which will promote the best health and beauty in our roses.
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service training provides El Paso County Master Gardeners with research-based horticulture information and resources as a foundation for their wide range of experiences in gardening in the El Paso.

El Paso County Master Gardener Speaker
Roger “Doc” Stalker had been a Florida Master Gardener for three years prior to relocating to El Paso and being certified as a Texas Master Gardener in 2010. As a Speakers Bureau member, he has given numerous presentations and workshops on rainwater harvesting, greywater use in landscapes, turfgrasses, and rose care.
Doc’s presenter’s credentials also include being a featured speaker at Master Gardener State Conferences in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona as well as a regular Master Gardener instructor for the EPCC Gardening in El Paso course. He is the recipient of multiple awards from the Texas Master Gardener Association and our local Master Gardener association.
