Join us to learn how to use indoor self-watering containers to grow your favorite herbs. Come and create your own indoor herb pot and sample some new recipes using fresh, home-grown herbs.

Bring your own 1 to 3 liter plastic bottle for the workshop activities. You’ll learn how to repurpose it into a home herb pot! All other supplies will be provided.

El Paso County Master Gardener Presenters

El Paso Master Gardeners and El Paso Water have teamed up to present a FREE series of Water Conservation workshops. Your presenters are Master Gardeners who have arranged a fun workshop for you.

Penny Leslie has been a Master Gardener since 2009 and is a Propagation Specialist. Her current area of interest is in promoting accessible garden techniques to enable everyone to enjoy the benefits of gardening throughout their lives.

Dixie Wicker has been a Master Gardener since 2011.  She has been Treasurer of the Association and currently is serving as Co-Chair of the Adult Education Outreach Committee. This committee plans and organizes educational events such as classes and Information Tables where they give out research-based information on many areas of gardening.
