Sara Holland – Hays County

Sara Holland completed her Master Gardener training in Harris County in 1995. After moving to Wimberley in 2000, she transferred to the Travis County Master Gardener Association, and then to Hays County in 2013. She has now completed 23 years as an active and contributing member of Texas Master Gardeners.

Sara has specialized in herbs, studying under Madeline Hill from the famed Festival Hill Herb Society. She regularly shares her expertise and passion for growing herbs in Central Texas by teaching herb classes to our interns and members. In addition to her involvement with Master Gardeners, Sara is the founder of the Hill Country branch of the Herb Society of America.
