Summer Kid’s Camp – Each year VCMGA sponsors a 5-day camp for 1/2 day, the first week of June.
Community Education & Outreach – We have a list of programs and speakers available for adult education and children education.
Lots of kiddos stopping by the “plant a seed” table at HEB Kids Fun Day! Way to go, MGs and HEB!!
Community Gardens – We have master gardeners that will provide assistance in building, preparing and planting raised beds at local schools.
Master Gardeners building raised beds at F.W. Gross Elementary school in 2018.
Master Gardeners, parents, teachers, students and Agrilife Extension Service parteners built several raised garden beds at Mission Valley Elementary School for the students to grow and later harvest fresh vegetables to eat in 2019.
Dig In Deeper – For education of our members at 12:15 on our meeting dates in Jan, Mar, Apr, June, July, Sept, Nov. (During Feb, May, Aug, & Oct. members celebrate birthdays)
