2024 SCMGA Calendar and Gardening Guide
The East Texas Gardening Guide and Calendar is a yearly publication of the Smith County Master Gardeners that offers gardening advice, tips, planting guides, things to do each month and other articles pertinent to gardening in East Texas.
The 2024 Guide is all about trees that grow well in our area. The articles include the importance of trees to our landscape. It gives information on trees of different sizes and how to select the best tree for the area where it will be planted. Also the trees that are not desirable for the landscape are discussed. It has beautiful pictures taken in the East Texas area, a vegetable planting guide, and websites to help answer gardening questions.
