SCMGA Projects

Serving and Educating the Community

The objective of the Master Gardener program is to serve the public, providing information on gardening and assisting and supporting the Texas Cooperative Extension in that pursuit. In Tyler and Smith County the program was started in 1994.

Activities in which the Master Gardeners participate fall into several categories. Master Gardeners volunteer to participate in those projects which suit their talent and in which they have interest. Listed below are those categories, along with some information on each project.
