Virtual Teacher Workshop on Birding and Healthy Ecosystems

What do cows have to do with birds? How can both help your students learn about the ecosystems, habitat, biodiversity, sustainability, and adaptations? The Connected by Birds Teacher Workshop, a FREE grant-funded program for 7th – 12th grade teachers to connect their students with healthy agriculture and healthy habitats through the experience of birding.

You learn about:

• bird identification
• sustainable agriculture
•  habitat management

and how to ties these concepts together through TEKS-aligned lessons and activities.

All participants who complete the course will earn a bird guide, plant guide, and binoculars!

You must apply by July 30 at WildLife at TAMU in order to receive the information on how to access the Zoom meetings.
