First Tuesday in the Garden

Join us at noon on the patio in the IDEA garden on the first Tuesdays in September, October, and November for our Fall gardening series of programs.

Seating is limited, so you may want to bring a lawn chair. The lectures usually run about 30 – 40 minutes, followed by a question and answer session.

All lectures begin at noon.

Here’s our Fall line up:

• September 5, 2023 – “Harvest Season Garden”
  • Elizabeth Waldrop will give tips on simple things you can do to get your garden dressed for Fall and prepare for winter.
• October 3, 2023 – ” Bulbs to Bloom”
  • Lenka Johnson will discuss bulbs that will be sold at the bulb sale that thrive in East Texas.
• November 7, 2023 – “Seasonal Floral Arrangements”
  • Megan Lissner and Paige McGuffey of Moss Florist will give tips on creations for the upcoming Holidays.
