Speaker:  Maryann Readal 

Maryann has been a Walker County Master Gardener and member of the Texas Thyme Unit of The Herb Society of America for more than 15 years. She sits on The Herb Society of America Board and is editor of its publications. She also writes a popular monthly blog article for The Society on the Herb of the Month.

Maryann does the herb program for several Master Gardener Intern classes along with talks on herbs to garden clubs and Master Naturalist groups. She gardens in Waterwood, TX where she fights a constant battle with the deer. Her special interest is growing different varieties of salvias.
