Resources

Research is the systematic investigation into and study of materials and sources in order to establish facts. There are many “experts” who publish their information in magazines, books and on the web.  How do you know if the information is based on research; or if it is based on what just works well for the “expert”?  Extension Master Gardeners and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension pride ourselves on only teaching and sharing correct, research-based information to the citizens that we serve.  We recommend the following websites for factual information:

START HERE

Aggie Horticulture – Aggie Horticulture® provides researched-based gardening and horticultural crop information and news.

EarthKind Landscaping – Earth-Kind® Landscaping gives you research-proven techniques to provide maximum garden and landscape enjoyment while preserving and protecting the environment. Be sure and explore the EarthKind Plant Selector option!
