The Children’s Garden

Literacy in the Garden 3
Every two or three years, the Master Gardeners change the theme of the children’s area of the Discovery Garden.  This project is one of the favorite transformations done by the volunteers. Currently the theme is Tops and Bottoms.  Bear and Hare learn the value of sharing the work load when growing vegetables. Bear also learns many lessons about the edible tops, bottoms and middle of his favorite veggies! The Discovery Garden is opened to the public during Rockwall Master Gardener community events, such as, tours, plant sales, plant swaps, and classes.
