Seeds and Cut Flowers

Cool Season Cut Flowers

Seed in the Fall and enjoy early spring blooms.

Note about our beloved Texas Bluebonnets: To increase bluebonnet germination rate, scarify the seeds. Scarification means scratching or nicking the seed coats to simulate natural weathering processes. Also, read more here about planting wildflower seed.

Winter Sowing

Winter sowing is an easy seed-starting method that uses outdoor mini “greenhouses” instead of indoor setups. Seeds get the cold, moist conditions they need to germinate while staying protected from the elements. Visit our winter sowing instructional page.

Warm Season Cut Flowers

Seed in the Spring and enjoy cut flowers all summer.
