Landscape Design Principles for the Home Gardener

Explore Landscaping Principles in this 2-part program with Galveston County Master Gardeners Judy Anderson and Steve Holliday. In the first part, Steve will discuss careful site planning, plant selection and cultivation practices for a beautiful landscape that conserves resources and protects the environment. In the second part, Judy will lead a walking tour of the Discovery Garden demonstrating how color, texture, portion, line and scale relates to plants and hardscapes. The lecture and tour will be at the Discovery Garden in Carbide Park, 4102 Main Street, La Marque.

***NOTE: Class is limited to 40 participates. You must pre-register in order to attend. ***

Seminar: Earth-Kind Landscaping for Garden Success

Explore Earth-Kind Landscaping practices with Horticulture Agent Stephen Brueggerhoff and Galveston County Master Gardener Judy Anderson.  Stephen will present basic landscape design methods you can use planning your home landscape, and Stephen and Judy will take us on a tour of the Earth-Kind Garden at our Discovery Garden.

*Registration is required.  Class is limited to 25 participants.*
