Our largest educational program of the year is the Fall Symposium. Each September we strive to bring quality speakers to our annual event. The symposium is a day long event, with registration check-in beginning at 8:00 am and the program ending about 3:15 with refreshments and lunch being provided.
Other educational programs are offered throughout the year. We usually offer a water conservation program in the summer. Free one hour educational programs are frequently offered after our business meetings on the second Tuesday of the odd months. Other programs of varying lengths and topics are offered throughout the year. These programs are either free or have a minimal registration fee to cover the cost of materials or speakers. Concho Valley Master Gardeners can obtain their required Continuing Education Hours (CEUs) by attending these programs or programs offered by other organizations (Other Texas Master Gardener Associations, People Plant Connection, and Texas Agrilife horticulture programs for example) Check our calendar for details of our offerings as well as some offered by other organizations.
