As part of our mission, Concho Valley Master Gardeners (CVMG) is offering four $250.00 garden grants annually. The grants are funded through various fundraising events in cooperation with the Tom Green County Horticulture Agent. It is our intention to provide financial support to non-profit horticulture programs in the Concho Valley. This includes but is not limited to school gardens, educational gardening/landscape organizations/associations, landscape conservation programs and rainwater harvesting to support said gardens.
Applicants must be a non-profit organization of the Concho Valley (Sterling, Coke, Runnels, Irion, Concho and Tom Green Counties). All gardens must be educational and created using Earthkind Landscaping methods. Gardens mush be created for educational use. There is no deadline to apply, however we recommend applying by May 1. Applications filed after May 1 will be awarded if available and on a first-come basis. The Scholarship/Grant Committee of the CVMG will evaluate all grant applications and make notifications. See the pages below for more information.
