AgriLife Extension Office Grounds and Demonstration Gardens
Contacts: Johnny Jones and Tom Rennels
The MG demonstration garden team members use the garden site as a teaching facility and ensure that volunteers are active in the maintenance of the site. The site is maintained in a manner that will provide the public with “how to” knowledge of good garden practices by viewing the site outside of scheduled demonstrations. Duties include planting, weeding, pruning and general garden maintenance.
The garden site is maintained from early spring to late fall. MG garden team meets as necessary throughout the year for planning, reporting, and evaluating. Duties include planting, weeding, pruning and general garden maintenance.
