Culture

Early Sunsation Peppers are a hybrid, bell pepper variety that matures from dark green to the brightest yellow pepper we’ve ever seen! As the name suggests, this sweet pepper also matures earlier than other yellow bell pepper varieties. The large 4 ½-inch, blocky yellow fruits are consistently well-shaped with a wonderful crisp texture; and they have a bright, sweet flavor that is great raw or cooked.

Early Sunsation produces vigorous plants that help to shade fruits during the intense summer months. This is a great variety for container gardens as long as some sort of staking is provided. Plants should be started indoors 4-6 weeks before the intended outdoor planting date.

Noteworthy Characteristics

Early Sunsation Pepper is an early-maturing, hybrid bell pepper variety that produces extra-large, bright yellow fruits with a crunchy texture and sweet flavor. It was bred for resistance to all three races of Bacterial Spot and are excellent for greenhouse, field production, and home gardens.
