Topic:  What You Need to Know about Honey Bees

What would we do without honeybees! How do bee colonies work? How do bees contribute to our food supply and our health?

What do beekeepers do, and what’s up with the crazy outfits and the smoke?

Join us and professional beekeeper Janelle Cole at The Library at Cedar Creek Lake in Seven Points for answers to these and many more questions about honeybees. This is a great session to bring the kids!!

Presented by:

Janelle Cole, Professional Beekeeper & Owner of “Milk & Honey Meadows”

Janelle Cole and her family have been keeping bees since 2013.  They live in Malakoff, on a small hobby farm with several goats, a couple rabbits, too many cats and about 12 hives of bees.  They have about 50 hives all around Henderson County.
