The Brazoria County Master Gardener Speakers Bureau offers a wide range of engaging, research-based programs on gardening and water conservation, tailored to the needs of our region. As an educational organization, we share best practices grounded in scientific research and can also provide more hands-on presentations.
However, topics need to be selected from our current list of available programs.
We are available to speak to groups of 10 or more within our region. This service is provided at no charge through the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Brazoria County and the Brazoria County Master Gardener Association. While there is no fee, we gratefully accept donations of at least $25 to support the educational activities of the Brazoria County Master Gardener Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Please keep in mind:
-
We require at least 30 days’ notice for any speaker request.
-
February through April is our busiest season—requests made early are more likely to be accommodated.
-
Most programs run 45–60 minutes, including Q&A, and can be adapted to meet specific needs.
-
Speakers are available for in-person or virtual presentations.
-
A donation of at least $25 helps us continue our mission of providing education in research-based gardening and water conservation practices.
