Fall Lawn Care
The Fall Lawn Care Seminar is open to the public and will be presented by two of our experienced Bell County Master Gardeners, Gail Koontz and Karen Colwick on September 19th from 6:30 to 8pm. Karen and Gail have both completed advanced training in turf care and many other specialties. Gail is currently the Treasurer for Bell County Master Gardeners and Karen is Co-director of Facilities.

Class will include these topics: when to fertilize, how to use compost and mulch, what type of turf grasses are best in Bell County, when should I mow, how high should I set my lawnmower and how to winterize.

New Location: All classes are held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Education Building located at 1605 North Main Street, Belton, TX 76513 to the left of and shares the same parking lot with the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension offices.

BCMGA is pleased to offer monthly seminars for Central Texas Gardeners presented by Certified Bell County Master Gardeners on a variety of gardening topics, from landscaping to irrigation to controlling pests and much more. Seminars are free but a $5 donation is accepted. Snacks and drawings for prizes are planned.
