“All gardeners live in beautiful places because they make them so!”
The Wood County Master Gardener Association is a group of trained volunteers working with Texas AgriLife Extension. We are home gardeners just like you, with a lively interest in everything from small flower beds to large vegetable gardens. We’re working to improve horticulture knowledge in our area with interests varying from native plants to roses, from organic gardening to responsible use of garden chemicals, from tomatoes to trees.
Our association is involved in projects ranging from pure horticultural research to community education. Our projects involve all ages. We want our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to be just as enthusiastic about gardening as we are.
Educational programs of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service are open to all people without regard to socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, disability, religion, age, or national origin.
