Did you know you can improve your soil health by adding compost? Did you know there are more living things in a teaspoon of soil than there are people on earth? Are you interested in compost but not sure how to start?

On Saturday, November 23, 2019, the Hands On In the Garden event will feature “Composting at Home”.  Tommy will speak on will discuss the different ways for gardeners to compost at home, from vermiculture to compost bins, and tools to help in the process.

The event is free and open to visitors. The program begins at 9:00am. Following the presentation join us for a tour of the gardens. Please wear appropriate attire as the weather is constantly changing. The program is held at the Demonstration Gardens at 3151 SE Inner Loop in Georgetown. We hope to see you there!
