Green Thumbs Up Gardening Series: Round Rock Library-Fall Gardening

The Texas Master Gardener Association, a volunteer organization of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, is presenting a free monthly gardening program, Green Thumbs Up, at the Round Rock Public Library. Join us for Fall Vegetable Gardening from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 13, Meeting Room B.

Master Gardeners Teresa Wilts and Jane Bowman will cover:

• Preparing the beds

• Which seeds to start and which ones to sow directly in the soil

• Fall tomatoes

• Fall crops, mulch, and row covers to protect from frost
