Vegetable Garden Series: Irish Potatoes

Galveston County Master Gardener Kevin Lancon presents success growing Irish potatoes in your home garden. This presentation is for beginners and seasoned potato gardeners alike. Kevin will focus on different winning varieties for our area, best practices for maximum production, and a few facts and myths about potato gardening. In addition, Family and Community Health Extension Agent Ginger Benson will cover health and nutritional information, a few culinary tips and delicious recipes, ways to enjoy fresh homegrown potatoes, and a fun food demonstration.
