It’s been a while since I posted. Life. It just gets in the way. And there were the rabbits and deer that ate my yard over winter. Yep. That was fun. Recovering my yard has been a summer long project. I was mostly successful with the help of my RCMG friends and my trusty book I received when I was an intern in 2020. That book has been a life saver! It has so much great information in it that has really helped me to do a better job selecting plants for this crazy Texas Panhandle soil and there’s a great section on turf. That section came in handy in trying to recover my yard. I still have a lot to do but I wouldn’t have made it this far without my book!
So now you are wondering “how do I get a cool book like that”? Easy answer – become a Randall County Master Gardener! Our next Intern class will begin on January 31, 2023. Applications are now being accepted through January 26, 2023. Print and read the Application Letter, fill out the form attached to the letter and send the completed application to the address at the bottom of the application!
Remember – the deadline for sending in your application is January 26, 2023! We look forward to seeing you!
Stay safe and feed the bees!
