To Become a Master Gardener:

Apply for Master Gardener classwork (817-556-6370)
This Tri-county 10 week course is offered every other year, in
odd-number years.  Next class March 2027.
The cost is $200.00 and includes the textbook.
Classes are held on Tuesdays from 9am-4pm.
Classes rotate between Hood and Somervell Counties

Complete the Coursework and Intern requirements
One open-book exam at the end of coursework
50 Volunteer hours within 12 months of Training Class
Pass a background check

Received your Master Gardener accreditation, then do annually:
6 Continuing Education hours
20 Volunteer hours
$25.00 annual dues, payable in (February)
