Let’s Grow Something in Gregg County!

Master Gardening is all about learning how to garden successfully.  A wide variety of vegetables, flowers, shrubs and trees can thrive in our County’s USDA Zone 8b.  Plant selection, along with soil, nutrients, water, and sun requirements affect the success of plantings.  Knowledge can help you be more successful, saving time and money, as well as precious resources such as water and fertilizer.  Gardening can be a few pots on your patio or front porch, planting beds around your home, a few vegetables in a planter box, orchard, or a vegetable garden big enough to feed you and surrounding neighbors.  We encourage you to get started and have fun along the learning journey!
