Eisenhower Birthplace Workday

Workday at Eisenhower Birthplace Thursday, Jun 4th @ 9am, weather permitting.
They still advise masks and social distancing and prudent hand washing at the Birthplace site. Bathrooms will be open.
Still need to deadhead roses, trim some spreading natives, attack some weeds, and plant some annuals. We could also transplant and label some existing plants. Not sure which workday I may have annuals ready for right now, hopefully this Thursday.

eisenhower-birthplace@thc.texas.gov The parking lot is at the corner of Nelson and S. Lamar. Map apps may send you down Shepherd or Day Streets. They don’t go through. Shepherd looks like it could go through, but the gate is ALWAYS closed on this street.Bring large shovel (if you want to help transplant), small gardening tools, gloves, and bucket(s).Thanks,Roma
