Eisenhower Birthplace Workday

Having a Workday at Eisenhower Birthplace Saturday, May 30th @ noon until 3 pm.
They still advise masks and social distancing and prudent hand washing at the Birthplace site. Bathrooms will be open
Need to deadhead some roses, trim some spreading natives, attack some weeds, and plant some annuals. Not sure if I will have annuals ready by Saturday or not.

Even with the full address and the signs, it can be difficult to find the streets that lead to the parking lot for the site.
The parking lot is at the corner of Nelson and S. Lamar. Map apps may send you down Shepherd or Day Streets. They don’t go through. Shepherd looks like it could go through, but the gate is ALWAYS closed on this street.
