Eisenhower Birthplace Workday

The East side of the Visitor Center and the sign bed need aggressive weeding.
The Monarch Waystation has Monarch eggs on the Tropical Milkweed! It and some
the other flower beds around the restrooms could use some light weeding. There may be some dried seed heads to collect here and there.
Bring small gardening tools, gloves, and pots/bucket(s).
They still advise masks and social distancing and prudent hand washing at the Birthplace site. Bathrooms will be open.

The parking lot is at the corner of Nelson and S. Lamar. Map apps may send you down Shepherd or Day Streets. They don’t go through. Shepherd looks like it could go through, but the gate is ALWAYS closed on this street.
