Eisenhower Birthplace Workday

Well, I think we will go through Birthplace Home front beds with a fine tooth comb one last time. Then turn our sights to the Monarch Waystation and West side of the Visitor Center, because it will be in the shade! Yay!
Bring digging fork, rake, small gardening tools, gloves, and pots/bucket(s).
It supposed to get up to 100 degrees, so bring whatever you hydrate with. There is a drinking fountain and plenty of hoses on site if you forget!
They still advise masks and social distancing and prudent hand washing at the Birthplace site. Bathrooms will be open.

The parking lot is at the corner of Nelson and S. Lamar. Map apps may send you down Shepherd or Day Streets. They don’t go through. Shepherd looks like it could go through, but the gate is ALWAYS closed on this street.
