Rose Rosette Disease

Rose Rosette Virus is a new threat to roses here in Texas.

We now have a confirmed case of Rose Rosette Virus in Wichita County as of July 29, 2015.  Please click on this link to Texas A&M to read more about this disease, how it’s spread, and what your options are.

The two photos below show roses infected with Rose Rosette.  If you suspect your roses may have this, you may send samples to the Texas Plant Disease Diagnostic Lab for testing.  Click here for a link to download the form and instructions.  There is a $35 fee.  Please note at the bottom of the form you asking for a Rose Rosette test.
