The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Bastrop County is sponsoring a Grape and Olive Field Day at Dr. Audelio Rivera’s Farm at 1445 Watterson Road in Red Rock on June 8 from 8:30 a.m. to Noon. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the program beginning at 9 a.m. Dr. Jim Kamas, Extension Horticulturist from Fredericksburg, will present the program on management of grapes and olives in Bastrop County. The cost is $15 per person, payable by check on site. BRING YOUR OWN LAWN CHAIR!
