The Waller County Junior Master Gardener program is an international youth gardening program sponsored by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Texas 4-H Youth Development Program. JMG engages children in novel ‘hands-on’ group and individual learning experiences that provide a love of gardening, develop an appreciation for the environment, and cultivate the mind.

Every summer Waller County Master Gardeners invite kids to come and play in the dirt with them. Everyday is full of fun hands on activities that teach kids about the world all around them. We teach life cycles of plants and animals that live among us and understand why we need to care for our environment. Lessons encourage students to ask questions and explore through STEM activities and to express themselves through art, literature, songs and other fun filled presentations. We prepare recipes straight from the garden and teach lifelong goals for healthy minds and bodies. JMG summer program is a fun experience that teaches lifelong lessons that will make your kids bloom!
