VEG Native Texas Garden

We all love our Native Texas Garden for getting ideas of the many native Texas plants that are great for our area.

(Thanks to Olivia Blanchard – Native Texas Garden chair)

This is Olivia Blanchard in the green VCMGA shirt during one of our recent plant sales featuring Native Texas Plants. Helping with the sale is also Janet McCrea, one our biggest supporters of Texas Native Plants with Barbara Schmidt.

In this area children can follow the Rainbow Circle and find the plants that are Yellow and Green.

Children can also find the letters of the alphabet with animal name plants from G-L.

An extensive plant list is coming so that you too can choose Native Texas Plants for your landscape or enjoy seeing them and identifying them at VEG.

There is also a sign to help you learn more about TEXAS State flower, bird, reptile, fruit, tree, etc. Do you know what the STATE FLOWER is? You can find it all over VEG especially when its bloom season starts.
