Speakers: Jayla Fry and Nicky Maddams
The Volunteer Management System (VMS) is available to all Master Gardeners for their county reporting purposes. We provide the VMS because of the importance of reporting your hours and documenting service. Reporting helps Extension tell our story of how we help the public and reporting helps compare numbers for funding sources. When volunteers report timely and correctly, this supports Extension efforts because all AgriLife employees report the impact of our programs. In this session, we will look at what the VMS is telling and what else it can do for us at both the local and state level. Further, we will discuss ways to improve reporting efforts, ways to add information to the system that will interpret programs in a more meaningful way, and help you evaluate programs locally using the VMS.
