Cultivating School Gardens Virtual Conference

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension is hosting a conference on the many aspects of cultivating learning and build healthy youth in public, private, and home school gardens. This conference will look at how to prepare and plan different garden sites and layouts while considering irrigation, soil, and other common challenges. Planting various varieties, seeds, and transplants will be discussed while focusing on not only the timing of the harvest, but the encouragement of beneficial insects and maintenance as well. Various success stories will be shared as well as how to support your projects through volunteers, funding, and other partnerships.
