Become a Texas Master Gardener

🌿 Become a Certified Master Gardener in San Jacinto County! 🌿

Are you passionate about plants and eager to share your knowledge with the community? The San Jacinto County Master Gardener program—powered by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension 🤝—offers a comprehensive training course for folks who love horticulture and community service.

🌼 Program Highlights

  • 🎓 Extensive Training: 60 hours over 12 weeks with Texas A&M professors and Extension specialists, plus local classes.

  • 🙌 Volunteer Opportunities: Maintain demonstration gardens 🪴, answer gardening questions 📞, give presentations 🎤, teach youth 👧🌱, support community gardens 🌳, and contribute articles & social posts ✍️📣.

  • 🏅 Certification Requirements: Complete 50 volunteer hours to earn the title Texas Master Gardener. Maintain certification with 24 volunteer hours + 12 continuing education hours annually ⏱️📚.
